Meredith wanted longer sleeves and an extended panel in the back of her gown’s bodice. New sleeves made of white satin with tulle overlay to match dress skirt; beaded material from former sleeve added to bottom cuff of new sleeve. Back panel extension made of satin with new hook-and-eye attachments. Existing tie at back of dress extended to ensure adequate lacing.
Alice in Wonderland dress for 3 year-old girl. Light blue satin dress with ruffle under bottom hem for faux petticoat look, hook-and-eye back closure, elastic at waist and arms. White cotton apron with back tie closure and two front pockets; straps of same ruffle trim as at dress hem.
Dress alterations included shortening sleeves from 3/4 to cap sleeve, adding new zipper, and adding sequined fabric from altered sleeves to waistband.
Dresses representing the houses of Hogwarts. Separate top and skirt. Brocade top with broadcloth lining for Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin with satin top overlaid with lace for Ilvermorny. Satin or textured light-weight knit skirts with elastic waistband. Zippered back closure. Peasant Costume made for individual client for Cavalry Halt variation. Sheer poly top with elastic neckline connected to three-layer cream chiffon dress at waist. Blue satin, lined bodice has boning and hand-sewn eyes for front ribbon or cord closure.
Hair piece made of ivory sparkle organza, pearl brooch, and hair clip for the Party Mothers in Salt Lake City Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker.” Clips coordinated with the accents of the dresses.
